i have been playing xbox for little over a year now i have never boosted to get my gamer score up and my score is 28k

i agree boosters suk……….. for me my xbox live gamertag is xEliTe AvEnGeRx and my gamer score is 964 without boosting never boosted in my life and never will

WOW!, Thats a great guide. Colin I’m with you on your boosting comment. My friend got from 10,000 gamerscore to 15,000 in about a day in a half from boosting with his brother.. My gamerscore is legit, Only 5,100 points but oh well. Add me on Xbox Live and check me out

So angry.

It’s not hypocritical. My own view is that achieving things in a game, easy or not, is just fine. It’s boosting, which is not playing easy games but actually going against the purpose of a game by killing volunteer opponents, lining up your friends, etc. to earn them.

I don’t really care if you do boost, either — just don’t ruin online games for those interested in actually playing them, and don’t brag about your gamerscore as if it represents actual skill. That’s the part I have a problem with.

The purpose of this list is so that people who share this view and really enjoy achievements, but don’t want to sink to boosting/cheating to earn them, can give a legitimate boost to their gamerscore.

Personally, I don’t bother with games that aren’t fun. I don’t have all of the achievements, but in games I do like, I really enjoy getting achievements and the challenge they present.

You’re attempting to sugar coat that fact that you’re boosting for achievements by saying you’r putting effort into it. Whether you’re trying to boost with a friend online or buying/renting games with easy gamerscore points, it’s BOOSTING FOR ACHIEVEMENTS. This is just hypocritical and moronic.

avatar is a really quick thousand gp. takes about 2 mins to get. there are only 5 achievements all of which are hit combos from 10-50, and when you have about 10 guards running towards you it is really easy.
