The Xbox 360 has the best online gameplay and the widest library to date. The PS3 has the most impressive hardware capabilities. The Xbox 360 can be expanded to play HD-DVD, the PS3 plays Blu-ray natively. I imagine most of the games will level out between the 360 and PS3. At this time I still have to recommend the 360, because I love online games. Online is such a big part of the 360 -- creating your online profile is the first thing you do when you plug in the system. Halo 3 will absorb a lot of my time, and the way voice chat and online play are done on the Xbox are excellent. I really need to get a 360 then. We have one of those big screen LCD HDTVs that it would look pretty good on. I've been *so* busy with work though that it's been hard to justify a new console system. It seems like just yesterday that we waited outside all night (10 hours) in the blistering Minnesota winter waiting for the Wii - but now every time Danielle and I walk into Best Buy we head straight for the 360 Guitar Hero and Madden demos :). I don't know much about this. What are 360's positives over the PS3? It seems that people are either fanatical about one or the other and every opinion is so bias!
