Mass Effect on the way!

I’m very excited about Mass Effect. This RPG comes to us from BioWare, the developers behind Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. KoToR is one of the only Star Wars titles out there worth playing, and BioWare did an excellent job of creating an original RPG based on a story that’s been re-told way too many times.
Mass Effect, a completely new franchise, finally has a release date. The game will be released on November 20 — just in time for the holidays. This one is almost certainly going to top my list of the year’s top games (right up there with this month’s Halo 3). Mass Effect has taken home 50 awards so far from various media outlets, and it’s months from release.
This sci-fi RPG takes place in a huge explorable galaxy with vibrant characters and beautiful graphics. The game, like the KoToR games, promises to bring action-packed gameplay that preserves key RPG elements. The game’s available for pre-order at Amazon, and probably at your local retailer as well.
