They fixed downloads.
June 8th, 2006 |Finally. They fixed downloads on Xbox Live Marketplace.
They being Microsoft, and fixed meaning you don’t have to sit and watch a stupid progress bar while you download content. Like any other browser, software or online application, you can actually do other things while you download now. Not only that, but you can set up several downloads in a queue and have it all download while you’re busying yourself elsewhere.
That was the most annoying ‘feature’ of the Xbox 360 interface. I’m happy now.
They did some other stuff too, but I don’t really care. A few things now work the way I thought they should have when I first powered up my Xbox 360, but nothing else was so significant.
