You have got to love the people on Xbox Live. I was playing Call of Duty 2 a little while ago, and the person running the game was taking his sweet time in changing the settings and actually getting the game running.

I was feeling patient, though, so I just hung around. A few people came and went, but some interesting conversations started up.

Now, anyone who’s played a competitive game on Xbox Live for more than thirty seconds knows that trash talk isn’t new. But this was the most hilarious conversation yet. Most of the participants were from the southern United States and chose the “trailer trash” insult above all. Lots of profanity, lots of stabs, but the line that took the cake was:

“Hey, don’t make me come over there!”

“You’re going to come over here? What are you going to do, drive your house up to my house!?

These people are nuts, and, uh… I think it’s great.
